She came, she saw, she conquered
Vivienne had a very unconventional upbringing. She was born in England and brought up by their artist mother, who became a widow at 32 years old, and took her and her brother across the world to live in Australia and America. Vivienne came to live in Denmark in 1980 and has now been a professional actor for 50 years, playing everything from tragedy to comedy, in TV and films, theatre and Stand-Up.
She has often been described as having more energy than a Duracell battery rabbit.
She is more active than ever, having just received 5 star reviews for her portrayal of “Shirley Valentine“ in a one-woman play full of humour and introspection. She also writes plays and directs and stars in the Crazy Christmas Show every year for the last 40 years. This popular show has made her something of an institution in Denmark. Her details are in the exclusive Blå Bog, and she is the only non-Dane to have a “Teaterflise“ on the Walk of Fame on Frederiksberg Alle.
As a foreigner, coming to Denmark, she definitely “came, saw and conquered“.
So what is her secret to achieving success ?
What is the dynamo that keeps her going ?
Where does she find her inspiration ?
All this and more, she reveals in her entertaining Personal Lecture, leaving her audiences laughing and feeling positive about everything that life can offer.
